Botanical Lip Therapy+Love from Blogger Buddies+ Item for Swap

I received many emails asking about shopping places in Bangkok and what are some of the Thai skincare and cosmetics you should shop when you are here.

We have many Thai cosmetic lines, the popular ones are : Oriental Princess, Beauty Buffet, BSC and Mistine .The prices are much more cheaper comparing to Korean and Japanese brands.

One of the products that I recommend from "Oriental Princess" is their Botanical Lip Therapy .

What is written on the box: A lip scrub with the concentrated goodness of natural plant extracts to help gently eliminate dry, chapped skin cells, protecting your lips from deep wrinkles and helping boost blood circulation. Natural scrub beads leave your lips looking smooth, fresh and in perfect health.

Zoe's review: This scrub is very easy to apply , just rub this scrub on your lips gently then remove it with water. You don't have to apply it everyday since it's a weekend scrub.

After applying this scrub I felt that my lips did get a lot smoother and it did get rid of the chapped skin cells that were coming out, it has a very nice smell and the price is affordable.

I am going to blog about more Thai products in my future posts and also popular shopping p laces here^^.

Moving next to some love I recieved, Monica (http://missonic.blogspot.com/) , my creative blogger buddie from Indonesia sent me a Thank you postcard for the giveaway stuff I sent her.

Loy Krathong Festival + Color Tags

Loy Krathong is a festival celebrated annually in Thailand, it is held on the full moon of the 12th month in the traditional Thai lunar calendar.
"Loy" means to float and "Krathong"is a banana leaf cup. People place a candle and incense sticks in their krathongs and then float them on a local river or pond. As they push away their krathong, they ask for forgiveness in polluting the waterways and also for good luck in the coming months.
This year I went to a park near a famous department store called "Emporium Department Store" to celebrate this festival with my family BUT I forgot to bring with me my camer's batteries so I couldn't take any pictures with my camera T T...I was so sad coz I can't share wit u the beauties of this festival.
I could only take a few pictures with my mobile phone that's why they are not that good^^; Can you see our Krathong ?We floated it in a pond in this park.I don't why but our Krathong's lights look the brightest^^.
Happy Loy Krathong to all of you , I wish you all all the happiness in the world~.

A game from *Notes from the Toothfairy*

*Notes from the Toothfairy* has created a very cute and fun game so I thought I'd join^^

This game is to share a piece of you, every month. That way, you and your readers can see what's happening in your life, including the changes. I.E. one month, you might love chocolate, a few months later you've might come to hate it. It's also to remind ourselves of people you love and the plans you have.

November
I like: The sky , it looked so beautiful today... I really wonder if you have also looked at it today? If yes, then our hearts were connected to each other.

I don't like: it when things get broken and I am the only person who has to call all these service companies and complain T T.

I want you to know: that I really really want to travel coz the weather makes me feel so lonely these days~

I've planned:to pray more and stay cool.

I want to say to someone special: God ..for giving me all the love.

Now onto my recent interset, Have you girls ever watched a Kdrama called "The Painter of the wind" ?.

I so recommend this Kdrama as it's about art , the story is about Shin Yoon Bok a talented painter who disguises herself as a boy to search for her father’s murderer and meets a master painter who guided her into being a great painter.

The 2 other products that I have recieved from them were Squeaky Clean (Cleanser) and Glow and Shine (facial mask).

I have started loving Glow and Shine so much now , it comes in the form of a thick white paste with beads in it. Since I can't post pictures of this product yet because of their new packaging so I 'll just write some details about it.

Glow and Shine 's main functions:exfoliating + pores reducing + brightening
*For sensitive skin with large pores*

Glow & Shine deeply exfoliates damaged, scarred or unhealthy skin, to reveal the smooth, flawless complexion lurking within. It also lightens and brightens the dull and uneven-toned face, to make one's inner glow and shine rise to the surface.

My Gmarket Style*

The Cou N. is one of my favorite stores in Gmarket, their clothes and accessories are so feminin and classy. They always have discounts and promotions so don't worry about their prices.

I purchased a peacock cardigan and a black lace from them in my latest Gmarket haul and I have to say that both items are really pretty , the quality is also very good so I recommend this store to all of you who love to shop from Gmarket,
Click here to check more items from them, I am sure you girls will also fall in love with their elegant style^^.
I also purchased 2 VOV lipsticks because they had special discounts so I got myself "Hitch Peach" and "Oz Peach", the smell of these lipsticks are really nice and they are very moisturizing except that their colors might not be very strong because as they recommended they are preferably worn with a lip concealer for better color results.
I got a pink nail polish from them too.I wanted to purchase all 3 colors but Kalmo had already given me a very beautiful green color and I still have my yellow nail polish from The Face Shop so I decided not to purchase them. What do you girls think ?is it a pretty color?
Now, I am starting to love VOV products so I really want to try their masks and highlighters as I see many of you have recommended them in your blogs. Nam Gyuri is their brand Ambassador , isn't she cute?

One fine day at The Museum of Siam*

Hi everyone..sorry for my lack of posts , I have been busy again with housework and cooking ^^; ,my mom was sick so I had to do everything , the good thing was that I learnt to cook many tasty Thai dishes ^^.
Thanks so much for all your messages and emails, I really appreciate it.

I have decided to add my new email address to this blog since many of you have been asking for it so feel free to write me emails about anything.

I decided to go to the "Museum of Siam" today with my sisters, it's been raining everyday for a month now but good luck it was sunny today.

If you have a chance to visit Thailand, I so recommend to visit this musuem coz you will get to know more about the Thai culture from the ancient times until now.
Picture of a Thai woman from the high society in the past.Look at her top, isn't it beautiful?
I don't know how many of you have ever used this kind of typing machine and telephone?!but I have used them when I was really young , my aunt had them at her house so I was always playing with them. And now the retro side of Bangkok , I really love this kind of fashion.
And this vehicle is called a"Tuk Tuk", it's a taxi that people used to use in the past and you can still find them in some parts of Bangkok nowadays. Around this area are also many other historical places to visit and one of them is "The Gian Swing".This swing was constructed in 1784 and it's over 30 m in height. Can you imagine that they used to swing this swing to grab a bag of coins during the ancient ceremonies? I so wonder how they could get to the top of this swing without fear?It was really a long day for me since this area is really far from my home but I really enjoyed it.Please share stories and pictures from museums in your countries, I am really curious to read about them.

Item of the Week
Etude House Sherbet Skin Care Mini Kit
I got this sample set for free and I really like it now. It's very suitable for summer since it's very cooling, containing 100% of Alasaka Glacier Water and grapefruite extracts.
The set includes a toner, a lotion and a moist cream , all 3 items are so refreshning after using it so if you are travelling to a hot and humid country as Thailand then you really need to use these kind of stuff^^.
